Description: Apocalypse is my third official released WAD file for IDs awesome action game DOOM. This level is best suited for single player play, but does support multiplayer and deathmatch.
Credits: Dave King, for playtesting for me. The authors of DEU, and BSP, and of course, ID software.
Base: New level from scratch, approx 20 hours.

Bugs: One strange one I can't get rid of... In the elevator room before the blue doors, the player's perspective seems to sink as though stepping off of a stair. However, the entire room has the same floor height. You appear to 'sink' into the floor! Anybody know what causes this? Other than that, no known bugs.

A map with some great design, but poor gameplay. Texturing is good, lighting is good, and although the theme changes several times the flow between areas is generally good. The best part is an excellent cavern section. There are, however, some very bad parts; the blue key area is especially annoying. If you do things in the wrong order the map will also seem much harder than it really is. The "experimental" feel of the map doesn't really help, either. --3/5x
