| Two uneven maps, E1M1 and E1M2, with varying ideas and gameplay. E1M2 is best, if a little gimmicky, with its almost surreal appearance (a lot of connected lifts and a maze of doors). The architecture is sometimes very amateurish. E1M1 in particular looks random, and requires finding a lot of hidden doors to proceed. The fighting is mostly fun, including some mild traps, and both maps have similar fun finales. E1M1 has the most secrets I've ever seen in a map -- 31!!! Has to be some kind of record. --2/5 | x |
