Large 1995-era level with a lot of design aspects nowadays considered as flaws. Having said that: mostly simple but acceptable layout - not too rectangular nor dark, texture use simple but not too bad, ambiance is ok, not too many texture misalignments, fights @ UV mostly balanced. Rated as 2014 map: 3/5 because outdated, simple and way too easy, but as it was made in 1996 and at that time presumably considered as a well done puzzle-style adventure: solid 4/5.x

Very cool exploration map with a teleporter system like in Diablo 2 (conquering new areas and getting quick access to them), lots of impressive views, cool mechanisms such as a sphere making machine and neat secrets. Love it!x

This is dated April 1995. You get two versions; one for Doom, one for Doom II. I played the Doom II version. You fight 340 monsters in a large techbase, apparently inspired by Soylent Green. The detailing is very simple in a typical 1995 style, but the scope is epic. It's a bit reminiscent of Michael Krause' later levels. It has a non-linear layout, with a teleport network that can save time; lots of baddies although it's never hard, lots of switches too.x

It's ok. Some of the places look good. The gameplay is good too... 3/5x

A sheer pleasure to play through. Large techbase (with some wooden and marble parts thrown in) with a top-notch progression, lots of cool sequences, nicely varied old-school architecture, and great secrets. Quality gameplay, too, although the fights get pretty easy with all the health and ammo you're given. Teleports help you get quickly to key locations. One room with piles of powerups and ammo is reachable through three cleverly disguised switches. Highly recommended! --5/5x
