Description: |
This DOOM2, level 1 PWAD encompasses a very large virtual space with a surprise around every corner! I designed it to be a "mini" game that takes you from pistol to BFG 9000. it contains a creative use of two sided line defs that I have not seen in any other pwads, and an interesting maze problem. "Yikes" should give you a good hour or so of play.
If anyone adapts this PWAD for cooperative or deathmatch play please let me know. Since I don't play in those modes, I did not know how to best implement them. |

My kids, Megan, Joe, Mike and Steven who put in a lot of test-play time and helped me root out the bugs. I think we got them all. |

| Enthusiastic 1995 level with besides one creative scene, too many flaws typical for that time. Layout is simple, texture use spare, and architectural details are almost absent. Gameplay @ UV is very uninspired, tricks like a room with monsters shooting from hidden areas were outdated even in 1995. Rated as 1995 map: arguably below average, so I really don't have the faintest idea why this got 5* legendary two times. | x | |

| Yikes is right O.O this is a super oldschool wad. Creative is the best word to describe it. The only thing that sucked about it was the sectors where you have to run across these giant lifts. Over all, not too shabby for a weird ass 90's wad. 5/5 | x | |

| Usual oldschool weirdness. One sequence in particular is fairly creative. | x | |
