nice to have a plasma partyx

This is E2M1 (one of the reviewers above must have been unaware of this). It's great fun, with a lengthy, superfluous, but entertaining teleport battle against a mass of generally weak monsters, and the final cavern looks very impressive. One of the secret areas has some early Doom 2 screenshots, including one that shows the pain elemental spitting fireballs! This is very good for August 1994.x

This was a pleasant surprise! Decent looks, texture alignment, and coherence, plus plenty of ammo with which to waste plenty of monsters. The player can progress through the map as he/she sees fit, and a few teleporters are provided to speed up movement between areas. There's one massive fight (with teleporting monsters) and a somewhat tricky Cyber fight at the end. Recommended. --4/5x
