Description: In the past you blew the crap out of those invading demon hordes on your home turf. Now it's time to take the fight to them... to Blood Mountain, their hidden enclave. This Doom2 wad is another in my series of total hack 'n' slash fests. I challenge you to defeat this thing w/out cheating, or at least by only using a shotgun.
Credits: The authors of WinDEU.
Base: New level from scratch; about 15 hours.

Editor(s) used: WinDEU
Bugs: There are still a few misaligned textures here and there. In one of the caves there is a weird HOM effect.

Actually, you might want to play it before making such a judgement. This map does indeed achieve a fair level of difficulty in a crude way that only makes the map tedious to play.x

Haven't played it, but a hard game doesn't mean it sucks, it only means you suck at playing. Going to give this a rating boost just because of the BS of the last two reviews. x

This is from January 1996. It's a dismally unentertaining lava dungeon that only has a few rooms; the gameplay is irritating - perhaps deliberately so - because it has very little ammo and health, but lots of health and ammo-sapping monsters (chaingunners, pain elementals etc), and lava pits. It even has an inescapable, undivinable switch trap. What joy.x

Difficult, but not in a fun way like Hell Revealed. It's just sort of ugly.x
