Description: |
This is NOT based on my house, because MY house is nowhere near this tidy. My first real Doom ][ wad, this is playable without cheats at all levels - in fact it's maybe way too easy. Some feedback would be appreciated. Take care and don't get burnt. ;) |

| This is from November 1994. It's Map01 (a very early Doom II level). One of a handful of classic levels based on the novels of Charles Dickens. It's more like a castle level than a house level. For 1994 it's astonishingly good - easily up to 1996/1997 standards, still fun today, although a bit bland. Texture alignment, design nothing to sniff at, a decent load of monsters (lots of chaingunners). Better than Thinking Plagues' "A History of Madness". | x | |

| One of the best "house" maps I've seen. Almost on par with MM map 17. There are several route possibilities, clever secrets, a few nasty traps, and lots of fun. Thumbs up. --4/5 | x | |
