Title: Gore Galore (for DOOM 2)
Filename: levels/doom2/deathmatch/g-i/goreg3.zip
Size: 31.71 KB
Date: 12/17/94
Author: Ian Springer
Description: This level is designed especially for DeathMatch 2.0, but it is also an excellent single-player experience (although it will take a DOOM guru to beat it on Ultra-Violence). At first, the level will seem rather large for a DM level, but I can assure you that once all the players become familiar with the map's layout, this level provides the ultimate DeathMatch environment. There are many intricacies present which are not essential for a simple rowdy DM game, but they will truly enhance the game for those who take the time to figure them out. Have fun!

Much appreciated.
Base: New level from scratch
Build time: 40-50 hours

Surprisingly challenging map from 94's esp that cyberdemon and barons areas was very hard to beat due to all those trees and limited space ...this shouldn't be in DM section due to its size.and it got highly enjoyable solo playability with nice ammo, health and monsters balance...a blast from pastx

I imagine this being awful in deathmatch - it's too large and fiddly - but it's fun in single-player. There's a good balance of ammo and health, and although it looks like arse it plays well because there's lots of action.x
