| This is dated September 2000. I haven't played the original steps.wad, but I assume it was awful, because this is awful too. It looks like something from 1994, with unaligned textures and no detail; the map is just a lot of rectangular corridors and stairs that lead off a central elevator, with a simple arena at the end. There are 350+ mostly weak monsters, generally arranged in neat ranks, but you have plenty of health and ammo. | x |
