Description:	This is an expanded version of my earlier "GIRLY.WAD" I started out cleaning up some texture mistakes, and then it began to grow. If you have the earlier one, you'll recognize a lot of the scenery, but there are some new areas - including a pleasure-garden above the castle - and about 21 new girls. There are many more monsters added, but there's plenty of health and ammo. I have to admit that, even though the level is sprinkled with female genitalia to a pretty embarrassing extent, I've grown rather fond of it, less for the girls than for the various tricks and traps and textures. In par- ticular, the addition of stained-glass windows here and there pleases me no end. Oh, yeah, one more thing. The blue key that lets you into the dens of sin is available only on ultra-violence. You can complete the level without it, but if you wants to see the dirty stuff, you has to pay the price.

Bugs:	I can get a visi-planes overflow in the pleasure garden, if I lower the monoliths of debauchery, but leave their lights on, run to the southern door and begin to swing my head right and left wildly. Don't do this. Oh, and much to my chagrin, the entire game crashed once - I don't know why - as I nailed a pesky Heavy Weapons Guy on a pillar in the pit of invisible stairs. But I've played it many times since, and it runs like a Porsche.

Anonymous	As with the original, it's a surprisingly decent level in its own right, especially for something in the XXX directory. Whereas real-life naked women have no effect on me, I find that the poor-quality, pixellated and oddly-coloured scans in this level make my loins explode. You may think that I am sick. But who is the sick one? Me, who enjoys splattering the blood of demons over pictures of naked women, or the businessman, in his suit and tie?	x

                              to show how it's done; "girlyx" with the
                              girls, and "girlypg" without the girls. 
                              For the newbies, you can run 'em with the
                              [-playdemo] command-line perameter. (You'll
                              need DOOMII version 1.9).

* Play Information *

Level #                 : This replaces MAP01 for DOOMII
Play notes:               486/66 or better is recommended,
			cuz all the graphics stretch the engine a bit.

Most girly WADs are pretty lame. A couple of pin-ups
           replacing a useful texture, and a layout that looks like
           it was thrown together in half-an-hour. Ideally, a girly
           WAD should be a good WAD in its own right, but with a few
           dirty pics added to give it the panache of the forbidden,
           and characterize the atmosphere as one of transgression and
           danger and sordid corruption. In fact, this WAD genre is more
           than a little ridiculous, because who really wants to gawk
           at computer erotica with a Hell Knight breathing down your
           neck? The reason it exists is because it CAN be done, and 
           (male) adolescents find both DOOM and porn fascinating. Why
           did I do it? Mostly because it's cool to see a real picture 
           show up in the DOOM world, porno JPEGs are easy to find, and 
           I've got nothing against a little pornography here and there. 
           All the pics in this level, including the title-screen, were
           found posted in alt.binaries.pictures.erotica during the week
           or two I spent building the level. For those less blase about
           exploitative photographs than I am, I should warn you that 
           the pictures are pornographic, not erotic, XXX and all that,
           because it seems to me that the graphic violence of DOOM makes
           less-than-graphic sex look out of place. The whole charm of
           the game is that it's over the top. If such pictures offend
           you, I would urge you not to download the level, even though
           it can be played without seeing them. Eventually, your curios-
           ity will get the better of you, you'll grab the blue key and
           take a look, and a blast of moral ugliness will engulf you
           like the Baron of Hell's plasma ball. Who needs that?
           
           For those who do want to check them out, there are now 3
	   'porno' areas, accessible only with the blue key (blue as in
           blue movies). One is the evil library of obscene literature
           and strictured pictures, another is near the secret 
           computer-driven escape rooms in the basement of the castle,
           and the third is the not-so-sunny pleasure garden. In the
           merry days before the invasion of the zombie armies of death,
           these were the 'private' areas where the castle's owner could
           get away from the hustle and bustle of feudal management, and
           relax with vulgar entertainment, whose possession by his lowly
           subjects would be punishable by death or castration or three
           full days and nights in Disneyland's "It's A Small World, After
           All" exhibit. But now that mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
           the blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the ceremony
           of innocence is drowned, no one's enforcing trespassing laws
           very strictly, so you luck out.
	    
		  This PWAD can be completed by the average
		  player without cheating.

All of these programs are tremendous, particularly
		DCK and WinTex, which make the technical aspects
		of level-construction a snap, and free folks like me, who
		aren't so good at math, to concentrate on environments
		and traps and, um, other stuff.
