| As a postscript, it *is* possible to access the finale; you have to nip over a low wall (the design of the level misdirects you at this point). The endgame is easier and a bit blander than the first four-fifths. The level also suffers from having most of the secrets as unguessable "press or walk over every bit of wall" conundrums. But it's fun for a while. | x | |

| This is from 1997. By coincidence it has almost the same start as "The Cave Anomaly" (id=13821) which I have just reviewed. That was crap, but this is really good. It's basically a series of traps in a bunch of square rooms - each new room has a switch the makes monsters come out - but the traps are tough, and frequent enough to be entertaining. No sentimentality, this is good solid manly beating. Seems to go wrong at the end, though. | x |
