Description:	You have the selfconfindence to go through the gates to evil land and wipe out the devil himself. The game is constructed for a single player, multi plays or dm (deathmatch). After the fourth map the game restarts on the second map, which is good for dm. On the second lap you get all weapons to play with. The first map is an intro (no dm). If you have any problems then change to a lower skill.
Credits:	ID and Ben Morris (DCK20).
Base:	New level froms scratch for heretic (5 weeks)

Editor(s) used:	DCK 2.0 for building, DEU 5.21 to group. DCK 2.0 is a great editor which do the right thing in first place, and is stable.
Bugs:	Mace can sometimes become a disciple, this is a feature in heretic 1.0.

Tested Hardware         : Single play on laptop 486sx25 works good.
                        : Multi play 486dx66 and 486sx33 ethernet good.
                        : DM 486dx66 and 486sx25 nullmodem. Slow on sx25.

Difficulty Settings
Singel plays
  skill 1-2   No armor, feel free to write PONCE indoors.
  skill 3     First time playing, its hard. You must know how to strafe.
  skill 4     Extremly hard even if you have played this wad many times.
              No playtester did like skill 4, but i like it.
Cooperativ plays
  skill 3-5   Little more weapons.
Deatmatch
  skill 2   No armor, but a lot of weapons, a few monsters.
  The first wad its no dm, all players start at finish line.

To survive without cheating is my goal and i dont like rushing, but if
you like it I have written down some of my PAR TIME:s for single play where
I killed most of the guards and got most of the good stuff.

Hints to succed on skill 4

Level 2:  Get inside the castle. Turn left to get inside, grab
          weapons and ammo, get out.
          Run a few laps on the yard.
          Get inside the chapel and grab the book of power.
          Use it.

Level 3:  Get inside guard house and grab ammo.
          Run around to get everything out and let them fight each other.
          Find a cave, or go inside a house to keep your back clean.
          Save the book of power for the scorpions.
          Get eggs and use them at least at three scorpions at a time.

Level 4:  Get inside guard room and grab the ammo.
          Shoot clean, remember you can run over the tables.
          Big hall: get everything and use time bombs.
