| Born out of
the recent paranoia concerning all things conspiratorial comes Area 51.
And what a wad it is !! Containing new monsters, countless new wall textures,
new chaingun sprite and new floor textures, Area 51 does a great job of
creating the atmosphere of a hidden military facility. There's even a cameo
appearance by the Cancer man !! The design of the 2 levels is great; the levels tend to "guide" you, so that you don't wander around aimlessly for hours. My only criticism would be that there are too many archies in ultra violence for single player (although you are warned about that in the text file). All in all, Area 51 is one of the best wads out there. What more can I say !! |
