| Right at the
start, you can tell that this level may pose a bit of a threat. With
three demons, and half a dozen of troopers just in front of you, quick
thinking will be a necessity. First try, you probably won't get far,
but soon you will realise that there is a rocket launcher which is placed
in a 'secret' place. However, once the first wave of assault, it
is all about conserving your precious bullets. If you do that successfully,
this level will be a breeze. The level design is brilliant, great
for single player or deathmatch, but definitely not co-op. What I
don't get about this level is that why do you need to open a door with
a key, when you can easily get to that same place without getting the key
(it's not even a secret!). That aside, this level can provides cheap
thrills. Though this is a tad smaller WAD, it is probably because
it's level 2. Another
criticism is that some of the secrets are so important, that you probably won't be able to finish this level on UV (or Total Carnage, as the author changed it) without the super shotgun. This is an easy level, even on UV, I know because I finished it (and you don't want to know how bad I am), but definitely try it. Not for the hardcore fans though. Pros- Great non-linear level design.
Great lighting effects. Cheap thrills- fun and fast.
