HACX is a shareware add-on for DooM 2. It has four levels in shareware version and 21 in registered version. The levels are excellent (rate from 4 to 5 stars). HACX changes EVERYTHING in DooM. It has all new monster, weapons and graphics. It's very well designed, and there are lot's of things that you can break by shooting (windows, chairs, monitors...). Some of the shareware version monsters look a bit wussy... Download: Look from Banjo software's page

Hell Revealed (DooM 2) *****
Screenshot
It's been a long time since I've had some _really_ hard time with DooM. I heard about this level set from one of my friends, who told me that these levels are really hard, so I just had to download it. Sometimes you can have two Cyberdemons attacking you, and sometimes dozens of Revenants, and sometimes it is a bit too much for a master too. Yeah, and HEY! Don't miss the new great graphics!

High School (DooM 2) **
1 level.
Made by Steve Katz.
There's almost as much levels based on schools than there is schools! (well, not quite) :) Some of them are good and some of them are bad... Some of them are real bad... This wasn't really awfull, but let's just say that it lacks challenge, it has badly aligned textures and it's boring... It's done well in some rare places, and on some moments I enjoyed it, but mostly I didn't...

High Tech/Low Life (DooM 2) ***
HiTech/Low Life contains 10 well planned levels, middle hardness levels, new music and new graphics. The new graphics are not so great, and some wall textures are not aligned too well, but mainly it was nice to play. Sometimes the levels were hard enough, but I think it could have a bit more challenge, and I would not use those sounds for picking objects and weapons, that the author has used :).

Hotel Hell (DooM 2) ****
Excellent(!!!) WAD that contains one very big level. There's a courtyard with three huge buildings. One of them is a hotel, and one of them is a castle. This WAD not only allows you some hard situations, but you need to use your brain too! Only dissapointment for me that there was used so little of different textures in the level, but still I'll give this four stars!

House (DooM 2) ***
One level, graphics, music.
Made by Colin Mitchell - Radtard.
House... Could be called a very difficult type of levels. Very rarely they seem to be good - perhaps because it's hard to make a good house level but more likely because most house levels are made by beginners. Anyway, this is said to be based on dreams and it kinda has that kind of look in it... I have to say that the design mostly sucks and the level is really underdetailed but there are some rooms that look way better than the average place in the level... On challenge side the level really had something to offer me... Actually at hardest it was something like running on 6% health and no ammo and dodging enemies that you cant kill right now and looking for some ammo/health while punching barons of hell back to their home. House of DooM (DooM 2 or BooM) ***
One level, graphics, music.
It's rare to see a good level that is based on someones house, but this is good one. First I didn't like the new graphics, but actually they are just fine. There are few places where you can get stuck in, and that is not very nice.
If you own TeamTNT's BooM, then you can donwload a bit better version of this level. Actually the BooM version only add's a moving car that you can see on the road, transluscent objects and teleports that were used to teleport you when you walk in another floor are now replaced with BooM's un-noticable teleports, but they are a bit badly planned in the level, and you can still notice the teleport.

Housewarming (DooM 2) ***
1 level, graphics, music.
Made by Joe "Recidivus" Becht (homepage)
Rarely I find a good level that is based on someones house... One that comes to my mind is House Of DooM, made by Steve Noonan... Anyway, now Joe has made a level of his house and it's not too bad... There are some small flaws and by todays standards it is almost under-detailed, but it does look good and what's even more important is that it looks like a house, although it uses standard DooM textures... The challenge is ok too... It could be harder, but it was challenging for me on the first time I played it... On the second time when I already knew the level it was way too easy though :) One thing that you should note and not be amaze by it is that this level is for normal DooM, not for some modern source port and so it uses the normal teleport effect when you walk the stairs up or down... It doesnt look that good, but it's the best that can be done with normal DOOM2.EXE without modifying the sounds and sprites...

Hydro power plant (DooM 2) ***
1 deathmatch level.
Fast deathmatch level, but not as good as it could be. Quite good looking, but something is missing from the right deathmatch feeling. There's enough action though, and different set of weapons on different skill levels. Not in anyway bad, but could be better.
