Icarus: Alien Vanguard (DooM 2) *****
Screenshot Icarus is a 32-level hi-quality WAD from TeamTNT, the makers of Final DooM levels. Icarus contains all new music, levels and over 200 new wall textures. For a real challenge and great look I suggest you to download it. It takes 9-10Mb disk space when it's installed, and it's certainly worth of it!

IC DooM Series : 2001 Reprisal (DooM 2) ***
[Screenshot] 1 level.
Made by Ian Cunnings
Nice old-schooling level... Loved to play it after a pipefull. The level is not particularly small or large and the style is very DooMish. I hadn't touched DooM for a while so my skills might have been a bit rusty when writing this, but the challenge seemed to be quite good. Not in anyway specially hard but rather good in good ol' relaxing DooM blasting way. There were some minor texturing flaws around but if those would be fixed and perhaps some more style added this level might have potential for 4 stars.

Imprisoned (BooM + DooM 2) ****
Screenshot 1 level.
Made by Dave Lizzio (A.K.A Fizzdude, MetalliFizz, Fizzmonster.)
REoL's friend made this excellent mission... This WAD uses the same kind of ultra-detail to create arches, sloped ceilings and other similiar stuff that is well known in REoL TOUGH WAD's, but the style is not quite same as King REoL's... Well, this WAD has very varying style which basically means that at one point you are fighting in marble halls, then in wooden hallways and next in graveyard (which had the cool "raise from dead" effect btw). The challenge is there and also this level is certainly not a short one (which you unfortunately can notice in saving and loading times). All keys can be obtained from same room, but you still gotta go in several places to make them available one by one which is not new, but still rarely used idea. I would say that P200MMX is propably quite minimum machine to run this even relatively smoothly and even with that there is some quite noticable slowdowns in framerate, but it is fully playable however. Absolutely recommended for all detail freaks and others who like King REoL's WAD's, he has a friend who is good too and this is good example of it :) Of course if your one of those who hate REoL, then you propably dont wanna see this either...

Industrial Techware Doom - Part 1 (DooM 1) ***
9 levels, graphics, sounds, music.
Very nice and very DooMish 9 level episode - that's right it replaces a whole episode - for good old DooM! All the levels aren't exactly the best professional quality, but they are still good levels, and all of them have the original DooMish feeling that is stored in DOOM.WAD. Ummm... One more thing... Although the author claims it to be very hard on Ultra Violence, I found it to be a bit on the easy side... I'd like some more challenge.

Invasion (Ultimate DooM) ***
36 LEVELS!!! This excellent add-on replaces all four episodes, includes new graphics, and few new monsters too. All of the levels are very good quality (except that there are some minor texture alignment errors in the first episode). The new monsters don't look very good (better than nothing). It was a bit too easy for me, but it gets harder in the end (really liked the last level 'Mission: Impossible'). The startup menu is useless in this case, and it should include a multi-player option...

Invasion 2 (DooM 2) ****
32 levels + new graphics.
This is currently just a beta version of BooM add-on named Invasion 98, but this is fully working 32 level add-on pack... Anyway, it's highly detailed and very well planned adventure where you save earth from the same aliens that you fight against in first Invasion... Some of the levels are really big (not as big as biggest levels of Eternal DooM :) ). The last level has a really interesting way to play it through... Although you do blast the John Romeros head again, this time you have to do something creative to get at it...
