Guest Ahab Posted December 10, 2000 Plese tell me something: why is every level in Doom and Doom 2 maze-like? I don't see why id didn't make some realistic looking levels. In Doom's E1M1 (Hangar) it's somewhat mazelike. I think it should have been designed to look like a real-life base. Same thing goes for Doom 2's Entryway (Level 1). DoOmEr4LiFe Posted December 10, 2000 since when were E1M1 , E1M8 , E2M8 , E3M8 , Map 01 , Map 07 , Map 30 , Map 32 have been mazy kinda levels...sure the lot of them are mazy but to say all of them are is just pure wrong...but i do agree with you that there should be many more features to each level that would make it more realistic 0 Share this post Link to post
