I change my vote from that trio to Hellbound. Guess we have a tie now. :D

i really dont want to play the TIC wads so at least ill have a 'break' from DMWC if they get voted in :)

Hellbound is a wad that drags forever, not a huge fan of it, it's very similar to THT in terms of gameplay and length, only longer.

You should still add a "+++" so I can easily recognize it as a vote (I was thinking about people adding a "---" to whatever they're removing a vote from, but is this too complicated now? Wouldn't it be easier to do a strawpoll? Though I'd rather minimize people voting that aren't going to play next month, which is why I'm kinda against polls... I dunno)

+++ hellbound, it would be nice to revisit this and actually get a clear picture on the gameplay. It certainly looks the part at least.

I was joking btw it was Hellbound all along. Yeah, polls would probably be worse.

It went completely under my radar and now i looked a bit at it and seems more to my taste than "super imps in 64- wide hallways". Ok I haven't played TiC wads since... dunno longer than eternal, but we'LL get to play those too another month.

the super imp replaces the hell knight. it's basically an imp but it throws hell knight plasma bolts. it is the least super imp of all the super imps ive ever seen (eye of the beholder, strain, etc.), but if you arent great at dodging imp fireballs, let alone hell knight attacks, it will definitely mess you up.

also dodging straight projectiles in 64 wide hallways of any reasonable length is very easy

Well, I'm glad Hellbound is winning so far of course, but TiC WADs are generally solid golden oldies. I actually prefer the Crew's earlier OG Doom stuff to Obituary, though, myself.

+++ Hellbound. I'd like to finish it completely and maybe the thread will give me the motivation to get it done.

Hellbound it is. Looks like Demon gets his All Hallows' Eve wish :P

Apology accepted--that was pretty fun! Only frustrating thing to me was that there were so many hitscanners my health was constantly being shredded, but it pushed me to move around a whole bunch and start some infighting. I like how tight the ammo was too, as it made every teeny tiny cell pack count (barely had enough to BFG the second-to-last mastermind). Thumbs up to starting the player next to a PE + cyber too.

sorry for the big bump but i got around to finishing this in May, after stopping my play-through in Oct 16, but forgot to post it in here.

if i recall correctly i used some saves in the last few maps - i hope that doesn't offend any sensibilities :p
