This sucks man, I'm sorry. Your WAD may have somehow corrupted. Did you happen to accidentally change map formats or anything while editing it? One time I made a map and forgot to close the Doombuilder while I saved the edited Slade version and boom corrupted dead WAD. What I did was I went to my .bak files with Slade and pasted the entries into a new WAD and it was back to normal again. So maybe try that?

Try to recover your files with Recuva. I use this program whenever I delete a file by mistake. Since it's probably a recent thing you'll be able to recover the file entirely with no issue.

This may have been recoverable, the map could just have been put into the wrong format (which will make your map look corrupted as the only thing that distinguishes format is the arrangement of its lumps) and just needed to be set back. Slow down next time and wait for help first before assuming the worst. Screenshot doesn't do much good as that can't be diagnosed, we needed the wad.

Alright, thanks for the help anyway.

your map seems to be doom-in-hexen format, yet you inserted "AQUA" lump before "BEHAVIOR". that "BEHAVIOR" lump is what used by all advanced engines (and by all editors) to detect "doom-in-hexen". so, your map becomes "doom-in-doom", which has a different byte layout. the order of lumps in map should always be the same, and you should never insert something there to avoid such problems.

Yeah, the look of your map is typical of when a Hexen-format map is read as a Doom-format map or vice-versa. The only thing that allows the engine to know the difference is the presence of the BEHAVIOR lump directly after the BLOCKMAP lump. Just move AQUA out of the way.

Never insert music, textures, or whatever else in the middle of the map lumps.

Literally anywhere that's not in the middle of the map lumps.

The little blue arrows I circled in red let you move lumps up and down. Select AQUA and move it below the BEHAVIOR lump, like this:
