Personalize Your DOOM Slayer

No gonna lie, the Maurader Skin it's almost as badass as the Predator Eternal Default.
Also, this may be updated to bring more skins for promotions. (Loking at you Quake)

It's a Twitch promotion, it for streamers personalities like NyxGirl for example, to have they take on this game and go along with her personality as a Example

I like my action games with big pink goatmen and robot brain spiders like I like my C-SPAN. Serious, gritty, and utterly horrifying.

This looks interesting, but yeah not fond of the unicorn skin either lol. Its existence doesn't bother me though.

That unicorn skin is hilariously ugly. While it's not one for me, I do think it will make Invasions more amusing when I'm playing as a Slayer-huntin' demon.
 

I can't decide if I like the Classic skin or that barbarian/Marauder-looking one more.

The unicorn skin does seem a bit weird but i hope most additional skins are:

* Alternate/previous designs from the series' history and other games. (Archvile with mouth tubes)

* New/original designs that fit the theme/setting/lore.

* "Experimental" designs or stuff from concept art and all, mostly to explore different designs and stuff without rerebooting the series again and again.

* Maybe even joke stuff if it has anything to do with Doom, coming from someone that thinks Doot is a bit forced when there's other Doom related memes that aren't beaten to death yet.

* Maye even crossover stuff or references/easter eggs that don't play safe and aim for something more unexpected.

A problem with the unicorn skin could be if they focus less on interesting skins and more on whacky stuff, which feels somewhat "trendy" whether it's because of Fortnite or Team Fortress 2, which at first had cosmetics that felt fitting for the characters but now is known as a war themed hat simulator.

Cosmetics aren't bad but i think they could be carried to a better direction.

No, not a 3D rendition of Doomguy. The exact same sprite dropped in place of the Slayer. Limited animation and all.

I love the unicorn skin and would use it in multiplayer given the chance cause its hilarious

Imagine playing as a mancubus and having your heart ripped out by a unicorn and it's magical wand

That unicorn armor is nightmare fuel itself.

My main takeaway though, is that someone at iD is obviously having lots of fun... 

I hope you can have the Doom Slayer wear sweatpants with dress shoes.

As long as I don't have to wear it and only kill it as a Demon, i'm fine with it.

I've seen fairly polished-looking concept art of a Maykr skin which looked like something I'd want. Probably get it when you unlock the Unmaykr or something like that.

Some cool stuff with classic, gladiator, demonic, etc.   Something really cool would be the Legion of Doom/Road Warrior armor.

That Unicorn skin is uh, something.

But still, don't underestimate the amount of joy cosmetic customization options can add to a game. Being able to use them for photo mode is going to give some quite fun results.

While the unicorn skin doesn't affect the gameplay in any way and will not stop me from playing doom eternal I must admit that it looks stupid like the Doot revenant skin.

Other than that everything else looks good.

So what's the deal with player skins and how do you get them? I know one is from the Deluxe Edition and the Unicorn is a Twitch Prime thing, but what about the others? I don't care for meme skins, but some of the others don't look too bad.

A handful of them are locked away in the hub area between levels (90's Suit, Gladitorial Armor). You can unlock them as you progress through the game. Not sure exactly how you do that yet though.

You unlock Sentinel Batteries by finding them in levels and completing mission challenges. Using those sentinel batteries you can access locked doors in the Fortress of Doom, including the ones for the OG and sentinel armours. Think the 2016 suit's in there too, not sure.

Brony slayer looks awful, but hey I guess every game needs one shitpost/ironic skin. The other demons have one each from what I seen too. I guess it only becomes a problem when most of them are ugly and wacky.
