Question about Key Custom Textures

Question

i copy pasted key graphics from doom2
and edited them to instead of being red and yellow, they would be green and black respectively, but they don't turn the colors I changed them to.

am i just dumb, or do i not know the name of the key graphics, or??

And one more thing because I'm dumb:
can i change the dynamic lights color for them? ._ .

UPDATE: I got the sprite to change color, but not dynamic lighting.

I needed to add S_START and S_END markers to my wad (aaaaaaaaaaaaa that took 3 hours to find)

If anyone knows how to change an actor's dynamic lighting color, leme know :)

Learn from existing pwads.

Open Enjay's Gene-Tech and/or Waterlab and work through the GLDEFS examples.

As a matter of fact learn just about any aspect of GZDoom mapping from these examples and how to do proper housekeeping of lumps in pk3 structured pwads.

as for housekeeping of lumps, i go

- PLAYPAL
- TEXTS (MAPINFO, GAMEINFO, ect)
- MUSICS
- SOUNDS

- TEXTURES
- MAPS
