You are on a building in a large city, it is a tall one surrounded by a waist high wall so you cannot escape (escaping would kill you anyway, it is a tower after all), on the roof is a single imp, you shoot this imp and that is when it happens, 1000 angry hisses sound, you look down into the city to see them, red specs on the horizon floating towards you from the burning streets...

You're done for, the best you can do is hold out as long as you can against increasing waves of cacodemons and variants (see Realm667), the military are air dropping supplies to you to help you hold them off...

There, do something with that instead of the startan cacodemon room.

Frankly the problem is more they are are using GZDoom, which is about the slowest port for the job. @CacoXplainn should consider switching to PRBoom+, Crispy or Eternity for high enemy count expirementing.

1,000 Pain Elementals would literally fry my computer due to Lost Souls. Cyberdemons? I'm sure I could achieve that.
