Ouch... They look nice.

I work in a DropBox folder. It automatically uploads to Dropbox, which has some version control for files, so I can get earlier versions etc if something goes horribly wrong.

It's saved me a bit of pain on several occasions.

That said, I am not sure if deleted files are restorable. Will have to test that.

the concept is this... doomguy is in a gigantic livingroom and is actually just a pawn for the boardgame on the table, he gets around by using portals, there will also be scenery on the table itself and board pieces scattered around the livingroom

I am trying to find ways to create levels that are different from everything else.

The motherboard map has been completed, it can be downloaded and is called ANTIVIRUS.

This reminds me of old Half-life map called De_rats 1 (i think).

Just a weird statbar glitch in Plutonia 2. Every time a 2,5, or 8 appears on the statbar, it reverts to the original Doom font rather than the plutonia 2 font. Nothing wrong with the wad itself, just my combination of addons that are causing this. I use ZDoom and a bunch of addons to simulate vanilla.

 

With a little mixing and matching, I determined that the combination of the Vanilla Essence pk3 and the Minor Spritefix .wad and .deh are causing the glitch, though using either of them individually does not cause the glitch. Also interesting that it is only the numbers 2, 5 and 8 that are affected.

 

Any thoughts as to why this might be happening? Just out of curiosity, it is hardly a major issue.

 

Also @NaturalTvventy I look forward to playing NEIS2 through NEIS4 soon! (or whatever you release.)

Youve got the load order the wrong way around. I assume your using the spritefix pack? That has to be loaded before anything else, as it does indeed change some of those numbers.

@Devalaous Thank you for the heads up. That said, how do I load the spritefix pack first would you recommend? Normally I just grab a bunch of all the things I want to run off my PC desktop and drop it all on the GZDoom icon. In this case, those items are:

 

PL2.DEH

PL2.WAD

Screem4_DoomPal.wad

D2DEHFIX.DEH

D2SPFX19-beta1.WAD

Vanilla Essence 4.3.pk3

pk_doom_sfx_20120224.wad

 

So how to ensure that one loads first?

I'd recommend using that launcher I told you about, can customise the exact order things load in. I dont know if you can change the load order with drag and drop; I recall playing a mod one day on an older version of GZDoom, then dragging the exact same files the next day and I couldn't load my save anymore because the load order was different.

With Doom Launcher, you can see the sprite fix is right at the top, and I do this for EVERY wad; it ensures other things load after it, ie Plutonia 2's hud numbers take priority over the spritefixed ones.

I believe you can if you select the files one by one. However, if you use a group selection ("lassoing" a bunch of files at once) then the order for them is essentially random.
