I would recommend to turn off crouching, I think that you don´t need this in this map.

You can get stuck under these stairs

If you enter this lift nearby the start of the map, you will be stuck there, I haven´t found the way out

I admit that I had a problem with progress on this map. I mean the shooting range. While it is normal for Doom to flip switches when firing a shot, when combined with non-standard textures, it took me some time to figure out what's going on.

The levels are hella impressive, as can be expected from those talented mappers.

 

But if I may be honest I don't like the music. Felt like a missed opportunity to pick something more fitting for such atmospheric wad. Also some tracks are too loud and some too quiet, for example you hear nothing at the beginning of map02.

 

I think you should include a custom status bar, something darker that wouldn't clash with the shadowy maps.

 

The stupid title screens and fade-in effects at the beginning made a very bad impression on me that kinda lingers and prevents me from thinking of this wad as something as refined as those maps are. I wish you would remove those.

 

Please don't hate me for those complaints, I'm writing this because I cherish such textures and atmosphere and wish for fewer things to spoil the good impression.

Please forgive me for bumping this! I just wanna say this is a beautiful-looking mapset, but it's a real shame that every map has at least one broken teleporter closet (either the monsters are deaf, like in map 2, or the teleporter scrollers occasionally don't work 100%, like in map 4), some switch textures aren't being displayed correctly (if you press them, they turn black), and map 4 has a malfunctioning sky! Otherwise, really good episode, map 5 is stunning!

Forgot to mention - playing in GZDoom 4.11.3.
