Brother Bill and the gang have probably been my most consistent favourites over the past couple of years, and they are back with an absolute banger. New album seems a lot fuzzier and more complex than previous outings at first blush, but hot damn dem hooks are still there.

I woke up with Bauhaus' "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" in my head. I haven't listened to Bauhaus for a few years, so it was kind of odd that it was in my head. So I've been listening to "The Sky's Gone Out" today. It's a good album.

Edit: I replaced the music video with just the music. Because I don't really want to be told what I should feel through videos.

I really think this is a good song. I love how they mix jazz with punk on this album, and they really emphasize on the bass. There are quite a few bands that don't really do bass well, and it should be important. Victim's Family had an excellent bass guitarist. I might be biased towards the lower end of the scale, because I was a low brass player, but I like it when I hear it.
