crinkly cave detail which doesn't crash chocolate doom

it's too much to be visible from afar but you can make a looping section and just detail the interior

trying to hide a few faces just with shadowing and subtle texture swaps, based on a place i went walking with some nice banded limestone which naturally had a similar effect

You've got a pretty weird theme going with the purple sludge, nature and technology. Really cool mood! Almost want to see the sludge glowing more.

More glow is always possible :). The technology invading nature theme is a theme I use allot. Kind of a play on ugly is beautiful. That and I like using odd colored liquids as it looks alien, vs your standard blue stream or lake.

-Getting sick of pixel art and grabbing the smudge tool!

-Even more pixel by pixel changes!

-Sort of looks like rocks!

I remember opening up TNT in Slade and finding this texture and thinking “Holy crap, this is such a cool texture! I could make so many cool caves with it!”

No, I used to do that too. Back when the thing was current tech, anyway. I miss my nintendo devices having decent enough web browsers built in. Also clean that damn thing!
