Funny you should post this now. Tommy Tallarico has always been known as a bit of a fraud (what with his recent "Intellivision Amico" stunt which is widely considered by many to be a scam), but it has recently came out that Tallarico likely did not compose most of what he's credited to, and that most of "his" work is plagiarised or ghostwritten. It's possible that he has never actually composed a single piece of music in his life. Even Earthworm Jim 2, which he is perhaps most known for, was not composed by him.

It's a pretty big bummer as he was previously known as one of the best Western video game composers, but the writing was always on the wall. At least I don't have to feel guilty about liking the Earthworm Jim soundtrack anymore as now I know it's not made by such an ass of a person. I'm only bringing this up because I think people deserve to know about this as he was once such a prominent figure in video game music, and I think the actual composers of which he took credit for deserve to finally be recognised as some tunes credited to Tallarico are pretty well known, and I know how music composition can take a effort. Earthworm Jim 2's soundtrack was composed by Christophe Beck and Tony Bernitech.

Their best album, with Brian Eno.

Their best period. I dont listen U2 very much, but from the first album up to Unforgeable Fire they are fantastic.
