An old, Doom-inspired Coca-Cola advert from the early-to-mid 1990s

I remember watching this ad as a kid and having it stick in my memory - fast forward nearly 30 years later, I decided to search for "coca cola doom ad", and lo and behold, it's almost exactly as I remember it!

Note the Looney Tunes-esque weapon set, since they had to keep the blood and violence to a minimum in order to get the ad on TV before 9pm in the UK.

So... Coke-cola is essentially the BFG of cold drinks?

 I’d also like to point out that if the company did something like that today, it would be.... *breaths a deep, heavy sigh* Fortnite.

That was unexpectedly wholesome.

In a way, I almost wish they could have made an actual game out of this like General Mills did with Chex Quest. It could have been a cute little game.

I don't like having to watch this on an old archived version of YouTube (and I'm surprised such a recent archive even works!)
