Plerb Posted August 9, 2023 I made Doom style versions of a few textures from Commander Keen 4 and (mostly) 6. The 64x64 ones could be used as both flats and wall textures. I just have to make this with all the stones that I have decided to create (ruby, sapphire, emerald, marble 1, 2 and 3, granite, opal, citrine, wood and white stone) and also with all different frames I've decided to use (black, gold, silver, light wood and dark wood). I decided to ditch the dark wood frame as it would make the project too big, but also because it didn't match well with the stones. I've made some bricks for it too. I'm going to call it gempackd. I will keep on making other textures and release newer versions of this tiny collection. The WAD contains. - BIGDOOR1 in 80 pixel height. - BIGDOOR2, 3 and 4 in 96, 104 and 112 pixel height. - BIGDOOR2, 3 and 4 as 256 pixel wide variant. - SPCDOOR1 and 2 with 2 modified lower part variants in 80, 88, 96, 104, 112 and 128 pixel height and a green colored version. - A few monitors and screens with different frames. - SHAWN2 variants named REACAS without and with different warnsigns - Server racks with COMPTALL like frames. I have included a .txt file with some words in it, because i know how many hours and days it could take to make textures and i do not want to be an ass who says that all in this WAD is only his own work. It was a personal collection for my use, but eventually it is helpful for others. Have fun with it. Edit: Deleted WAD file, because i have posted a newer version on page 127. I don't think I'm mature or knowledgeable enough to host a map jam. Even though I've been playing FPS games for a long time, I'm not sure if I could manage the submissions. With a linedef split in 3 parts (64 units left, multiple of 64 units middle, 64 units right) and texture x alignment of 64 on the right linedef part the textures can be extended with the +1 numbered textures on the middle part. These textures are good for upper parts of presses and lifts. 64 pixel wide variants. No extension available for this textures. 64 pixels height wide vent part with extension. 80 pixels height wide vent part with extension. 96 pixels height wide vent part with extension. 112 pixels height wide vent part with extension. 128 pixels height wide vent part with extension.
