I was recently in Spain and tried to get by with old maps from something like ten years ago, and quickly decided it was time to cough up for new ones. A bit of a rip-off that there is no way to upgrade for a lower fee; you just need to buy again from scratch.

A couple of Depeche Mode albums (Violator, Songs of Faith And Devotion) and Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" album:

I never really listened to Depeche Mode other than the Personal Jesus song, so I ended up getting Violator and SOFAD based on what the fanbase had suggested to others in the past.

Approximately $207 USD of beef, pork, fish (fresh and salt water), and assorted vegetable side dishes from frozen food specialty vendor Wild Fork Foods. We went to their store in Wylie, TX after my podiatrist's appointment yesterday. Wild Fork can be a little iffy if you do mail order from them, I'm hearing, but I can attest that you can get great food from them if you go to their stores and do your shopping in person. We bought some sea bream, lake walleye, and salmon fillets in the fish department, some pork strip steaks (equivalent of NY Strip Steaks), some *beef* NY strip steaks, some "Outside Strip" steaks, several pounds of ground chuck, and a whole bunch of other beef. On the side dishes, aside from the ubiquitous frozen mixed veg, we got a couple of creamed spinach casserole and a couple of creamed corn casseroles. Om nom nom nom nom.

Got the C&C collection and already trying to refund it. Games are capped at 30 fps, thought it wouldn't matter much but on a 4k monitor it absolutely hurts to play them.

A new music (SMuFL) font for my notation program (Dorico Pro). It's called "Scherzo," and it looks *much* better than Dorico's default "Bravura" did. Cost a pretty penny ($76.99), but damn!, is it worth it for clarity.

I had doubts about this mechanical keyboard craze but you know what, it's really nice. Happy with the $42USD spent.

They are hot-swappable but I feel absolutely no need to make any changes what so ever - it's super nice out of the box. Got that nice dampened sound, and gasket mount. It's wired only, which means the budget they'd spend on wireless went to nicer switches and key caps. Works flawlessly on linux with no work, including the key combos for F keys etc.

Just found out Being As An Ocean released a new album earlier this year, had to pick up the digital version on Bandcamp after listening to the first track. Maybe I'll get the CD later on.
