leejacksonaudio Posted June 10 100 Days to Indy https://www.cwtv.com/shows/100-days-to-indy/ A show about the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes on in the 100 days leading up to the Indianapolis 500 race. It was on the CW. Good, good stuff. On par with Netflix's "Drive to Survive" Formula One series, except that there's no manufactured drama bullshit. It's all real. 2 Share this post Link to post
Herr Dethnout Posted June 10 (edited) Dungeon Meshi (or Tragones y Mazmorras in Spanish xd) As a fan of DnD styled RPGs (Like Wizardry), this anime is my most recent fav. Just stick out the fandom... 1 Share this post Link to post

Indycar's been pretty consistent at generating it's own drama and bullshit this year lmao 1 Share this post Link to post
Murdoch Posted June 11 I watch a lot of random documentaries on YouTube, mostly history and archaeology. In terms of actual shows, The Repair Shop is my favourite currently. People bring in broken stuff to a bunch of experts in various crafts and get them fixed up. Some neat historical curiosities and wonderful displays of craft skill. The only show I cared about recently was Fallout, which was about as good as one could hope for. Easily the best video game show or movie ever for my money. It's not really an adaptation since it's set in the same universe as the games and carries the story forward, rather than presenting it's own version of it. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lizardcommando Posted June 29 I've been rewatching Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and been watching Kaiju No. 8. 1 Share this post Link to post
SealSpace Posted June 29 Re-runs of the first three episodes of the final season of Young Sheldon... as well as The FBI's on CBS. The FBI's are actually my most favorite show in all of current TV right now. 0 Share this post Link to post
SealSpace Posted June 29 If we're going and walking into tv streaming service territory however... I'd be tempted to be say The Boys and Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle on Amazon Prime. The Boys is legit one of my top most favorite shows on the entire platform alongside Invincible (the only show that can match if not outright top it in action scenes) 0 Share this post Link to post
LadyMistDragon Posted June 29 Farscape Not always very scientific, but I appreciated most of the characters. Pretty well paced too! 0 Share this post Link to post
DynamiteKaitorn Posted June 29 I finally started re-watching Steven Universe. I now remember WHY it's quite possibly my favourite cartoon of all time. Sure season 1's 52 episodes is a slog but DAMN I forgot how great seasons 2 through to 5 are! Shame most people dismiss it too early on. :s 1 Share this post Link to post
DrRock Posted July 28 Rewatching my favorite childhood tv show for what feels like the hundredth time. The revival is total shit btw, don't bother seeking it out. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mr Masker Posted July 28 Starting rewatching Red Dwarf after I realized it was on BBC IPlayer, still a great show. The change between Series 1-2 and 3 is very noticeable, but probably for the best, I can imagine the show's premise was hard to write episodes for sometimes. 1 Share this post Link to post

Adamantium Posted July 31 Last tv show I watched was the finale of The Boys S4 on the day it released, great stuff and I cant wait for season 5, along with the 2 new spinoffs they announced. 0 Share this post Link to post
siliconn Posted July 31 a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000, i like to put the broadcast edition uploads on my TV and just fall asleep watching them, they're oddly cozy and relaxing. 1 Share this post Link to post

Precisely. On the whole I can probably say that I prefer the formula they perfected with Rifftrax, and it's that era which contains some of my favourite moments: the entirety of A Talking Cat?!, Disembaudio's credit song for Galaxy Invader, and the crew's legendary melt-down an hour into Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (I was in physical pain when Bill went off with that laugh). But their body of work through MST3K is still just as impressive, and is charming precisely because so much of it was less refined. Some of the Joel-era stuff is so unpolished it's just adorable. 1 Share this post Link to post

I never did finish watching that, since NetFuxx dropped it, which I guess was a few years ago at this point. Meanwhile I watched quite a few episodes of M*A*S*H and the first couple episodes of Bad Batch. 2 Share this post Link to post
DogsRNice Posted August 12 I've been watching Star Wars rebels with family and I'm surprised at how good it is, I just thought it was more of a kids show before. The first season is a it more like that and is really frantically paced, but seasons 3 and 4 are basically the same quality as the clone wars 3 Share this post Link to post
ReX Posted August 12 I'm currently watching Lucifer on NetFlix. It's actually quite enjoyable, if somewhat predictable at times. Before that I watched the first 2 seasons of Evil on NetFlix and am awaiting the other seasons. Before that I watched the first 2 seasons of Resident Alien on NetFlix and am awaiting Season 3. 1 Share this post Link to post

I only saw about 3 episodes when it showed on cable, many ages past. Must be worth watching the rest if you're waiting for Season 3. 0 Share this post Link to post

Got 4 episodes left. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted August 13 A bunch of things. But I am currently gradually rewatching: 사랑의 불시착 Forever Knight The latter a little out of sequence, as I started rewatching last year, and only had the DVDs for seasons 2 and 3. I was in back the UK a couple of months ago, and picked up the season 1 DVDs, so I started at the beginning again. Funny that even though I haven't watched them for many years, I remember many of them rather clearly. Or at least enough to think "hey, doesn't this guy turn out to be asshole?". It is as good as I remember it being. And I suspect the end of season 3 will be every bit as bad as I remember too. Well, OK, when did a vampire cop show ever have a happy ending? 0 Share this post Link to post
GibFrag Posted August 13 I just finished season two of My Adventures With Superman. So glad to hear it’s already renewed for season 3. 0 Share this post Link to post
Lizardcommando Posted August 16 I just finished watching Dungeon Meshi. It's not bad. I kinda wish it didn't end on a cliffhanger. At least it's getting a second season, as far as I remember. 0 Share this post Link to post
