These are the top 12 wads I still replay and enjoy fully to this day from the 00's. In no particular order -

- RTC hub 1
- Action Doom 2 - Groundbreaking and great to replay
- KDIZD
- Alien Vendetta - don't know how this couldn't make the list! It's one of my top favorite wads of all time!
- LTSD
- Super sonic doom - an underrated classic IMO
- Phocas island 2
- Deus Vult 2 - (since both this and the former are being revamped and expanded, that'll only make my appreciation for them bigger down the road)
- Eternal Doom IV demo - (same scenario as above).
- Whispers of Satan - (I anticipated this wad for a long time, and it lived up to my expectations)
- Hell ground - (a recent addition. This map breathes atmosphere)
- Stronghold demo (again, when this is finished, It'll certainly remain in my "never delete" file).

I guess Plutonia 2 might potentially fit in somewhere in this list, though I haven't had time to play it (haven't done much Doom stuff at all the last year or so).

Armadosia would probably be in there too, but it badly needed a re-release fixing some playability issues.

Other great wads from the 00s are P:AR, Darkening 2, DT2, 10 Sectors, Doom Resurrection, DSV4 and Rebirth. And others. A lot of Eternal's wads too. Also Extremal Doom, though it isn't clear when it was first made.

It's momento mori 2 with all city skies. Also, I thought Eternal Doom 3 just came out like a year or two ago for zdoom. It was a hub. Am I thinking of something different?

If it's the one with Espi's map, that was Eternal Doom 4. ED3 is the 32-map Doom2 set. IIRC it combined/updated ED1 and ED2 and added some extra stuff to make it ED3.

Yeah, I meant Eternal Doom 4, and yeah I also meant Momento Mori 2. I usually get the name of that wad wrong.

Concerning playing time HR2 would be in my Top 3, but it contains 4 or 5 weak maps. It's the most underrated WAD though. And much better than the original (heresy ... I know).
