That one was puryfied. Last file Isaac left behind only replaced maps 9, 22, 24, 25 and added 33, so these might be used as replacement over those ripoffs (original maps 22, 24, 25 weren't that copypastish so they can be used as well).

I started few days ago when I realised that these maps are rather far from playable. Original author did say that anyone can do anything with the wad, so no shame in changing it a little.

Journey to hell Map01 uv max in 1:30

I don't think this wad would be too bad is certain MAJOR problems were sorted out. This map does feel like map01 of hr in some areas.

Edit: I should clarify that the two switch tricks are essential for the route to work at all; the "imp lowers lift" trick merely saves a little bit of time.

It is HUGE but really boring in single player. It is much more fun in coop (if you're a fan of Invasion UAC or Coopbuildlm).
Funny coincidence that this 3.5 years old map got 2 demos in a week. And such long demos always impress me. Amazing persistence! Maybe I should try to do something similar, like Vrack. (never played it btw)

Thanks! And it is great to see a new Armadosia demo. Too bad this wad was tested only in Legacy. Some bugs that I know:

MAP07 requires complevel 9

MAP08 have one teleporter with W1 lines instead of WR, so be careful here, don't leave the outdoors area until you're done with it.

Also Grazza says that it is possible to get stuck on MAP05. I guess it happens when the monsters try to "open" linedefs 2944 and 2970. This map is really tricky btw, it took me 80 minutes on FDA.

I think it would be more fair to play Armadosia map05 with Boom compatibility. With Doom 2 compatibility PE is harmless. Obviously it wasn't intended. On this map it is not very important (there is only one PE), but please consider this in the future.
Anyway, congrats on beating this tricky map!

Yes, now I get a similar situation with wicked_7: modern WAD, more than 20 lost souls, pain elementals - should go with -complevel 9 for more challenge.
