Do monsters go after Voodoo Dolls?

This is extremely important to me right now cuz I wanna do a thing where you kill all the commander keens in the level to move onto the next one, but this is a limit-removing wad instead of a Boom one or UDMF or whatev, so I can't use things like scrolling floors. I also dont wish to use the hurt floor + end level if possible, but if I need to, it's 'ight.

Ight they DONT but does anyone know how I could accomplish this goal with the commander keens?

Can't say of UDMF, but in Boom monsters ignore voodoo dolls. Hurt floors also won't hurt voodoo dolls, but crushers will. Voodoo dolls also won't trigger exit from damaging sector type, but damaging voodoo dolls standing on such sector can't bring your health below 1.
