Anyone know how I can load myhouse.pk3 with Lasting Light mod? I get errors as soon as the map starts. I really wanna try it with this mod!

Disabling the Lasting Light mod will probably fix your issue. Have fun playing Myhouse!

Hmmm I thought that was a good idea!

Try playing on Nightmare.  No, really!  The Nightmare difficulty has been tweaked to be the easiest mode, and has fewer monsters than other difficulties.

Thanks. I'd have liked to experience also a bit of the combat, but this could be an idea to try, to play it as a "pure puzzle/horror map". It's strange though what Devalous wrote, as I experienced exactly the contrary, the map got progressively slower. Perhaps I did something I should't have done and a script "hangs" now? (Never mapped for (G)ZDoom so I've no idea if this is possible...) Anyway nevermind, I'll at least start again completely fresh, as with most puzzles solved it shouldn't take too long ...

I get all three keys as listed in the doomwiki guide.  The guide makes it sound like you can then go straight to the exit but you can't get over the wall in front of it.  I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.  Out of curiosity I idclip'd to the teleporter and ended up in a never-ending maze.

The gate outside near the exit initially requires a blue keycard, but under certain conditions¹ changes to require a blue skullkey instead. You must go back into the house in order to continue through the map when this happens.

Spoiler

¹ The gate changes if you've exited and then re-entered the house.

Is there any way to idclip to non-house parts of the map?  No matter what direction I go in, I end up in the building with infinite rooms.

Accessing the backrooms is done by entering one of many empty sectors which encase every single area of the map you can access in legitimate play. It's virtually impossible to noclip to areas beyond whichever one you're presently in as a result - this is deliberately done to curtail sequence breaking.

You could potentially get around using the "warp" console command but you'd need to enter pretty exact coordinates to get to where you want to be.

Yep, I did this to return to 'House 0' after returning from Reverse Underhalls to save myself another playthrough, since I wanted to 100% it for the stat tracking of my launcher. Its also handy to fix the 'bug' with the Hospital spawning a huge pile of unobtainable soulspheres in House 1, which drives me nuts.

Try UV Max. Current record is ~7 minutes (I think). So perhaps you missed a couple of shotgunners in a bathroom or so, they can be easy to overlook ... :)

That's nothing special, it's just the Exif metadata you would expect to be saved by cameras, image editors, etc. No need to view it with a hex editor either, a regular image viewer that displays the metadata would suffice.

I have a technical question.

I wasn't able to finish the wad (i.e. get "the best ending") due to a sudden FPS drop to unplayable levels in the late stages, just when combat begins to ramp up and an archvile is pursuing you from a fireplace (most will know the place, I think).

In GZDOOM try the "kill monsters" command, although Im not sure if the map will work or not.

You are supposed to go back to the house.

On a side note: you can leave the never-ending maze, by making a certain move pattern. That is very difficult to pull off.

I am not going to scroll through 60 pages of talking so I have no idea if someone mentioned the fact that if you go to Veddge's profile he has literally dropped off the face of the earth. He has done nothing since releasing this and has stopped people from seeing who visited his profile.

it's very common for people to have that area off and he's always had it off

Has anyone tested the console when the TVs switch to static on Channel 03? Channel 03 used to be the channel you would be on to hook up a console to a TV with a coaxial cable.

This was incredible. What a journey. Best gaming experiencing for a while; maybe since Dark Souls III. Pure atmosphere. Sue Perb sound design. Got me back exploring wads again.

All right, one more time :) I ventured back into the House to add some observations, especially on the version differences I mentioned several pages ago, and to answer questions that had come up on the other videos!

I was very surprised to learn another use of slopes and portals that I’d overlooked before, but that’s so clever for something a player might not even notice!

The Machinations of myhouse.wad (How it works) - Part 4

WHAT.

i'm hyped

My first reaction to seeing a new installment was, "Wait...there's even MORE to this game? How many secrets can one wad hold?" Seeing how the creator pulled off certain tricks in a way that sounds simple even to me, very much a layperson, only makes me appreciate the technical wizardry of My House more.

The possibility that the player could've interacted with the payphone in one iteration is an exciting little twist.
