Here's my mini SSG + Berserk map!
Made in Boom format so PLEASE at least use Boom (Strict) compatibility mode in GZ when playing, even though certain things won't behave properly in GZ even with strict, but that's another story.
Everything in this map should work as intended even in GZ, seems to work fine in GZ,

Difficulty settings: all implemented, only UV tested, may need playtesting on HMP and HNTR.
Coop & Deathmatch, starts added, not tested.

Just playtested it, loved it! Did some searching around and it seems to be workin fine, only problem i got was my skill issue! :D

I am interested! I think I'd want to do the BFG/Berserk combo.

 

I do have a map already made from years ago, it was never used for anything but it's a weird/gimmicky map that I could easily retrofit to hone in especially on the gimmicky aspect of this project. I would like for you to try it out and give me some feedback, so that I can turn it into an official submission !

Hi everyone! 
 

First off, thank you very much everyone who has decided to participate thus far, we now only have one slot not yet reserved, something I really didn't expect to happen in such little time! :D

 

So, without any further delays, this project has finally made me make a map of my own (Though it has consumed my braincells for the past two weeks)! I will be posting the link here in this post as well as in the original post, for anyone that's willing to take a look at it. Keep in mind this is my first actual map, so any and all feedback is greatly apreciated! :)

NOTICE: I haven't implemented the dehacked made by @Demonic Meatball yet, so for the full experience, refrain from using the shotgun and chaingun dropped by zombies!

Allrightythen... Damn near done with my submission; nice punchy little map, 8mins at most, a change from my usual trend of bigger and bigger... ammo is tight light it should be, but im confident the resource management adds to the "push-forward-combat" design that I like to design around...

 

If the level is linear, that can be an advantage, provided the balance between "fuck the player" and "I just trivialized that fight then, didn't I"...

 

if anyone wants to play test her I'll post the .zip here {404 blue underscore not found: contact system administrator...}

 

shotgun is secret and totally RNG whether or not it Clips through, if it does, mozel tov...

 

Map25 Doom2 IWAD. Boom cplvl 9. freelook ok no jump no crouch, tight little firefights... hope you cleaned Your Beretta...

 

P.S. Computer skills are a plus Marine... fix the windows harddrive yourself...

Hey! Nothing done yet here, I'm still working on my contribution for this map, I have made a little bit of progress but not a lot yet (Getting back into UDMF has been a little difficult but still feasable)

Thanks, We'll cook up something nice. I have two doubts about the project, though. 

 

1 - It's about having 2 guns at all times, so what about the pistol? Will there be a mod added to remove it from the inventory?
2 - Why did you choose to remove the combinations of bare knuckles + gun? Wouldn't that make for some cool Tyson maps or sections?

Hey @LoatharMDPhD, just finished playtesting the map, gotta give it to you lad, never once in my life did I ever expect to see the physcal manifestation of a fever dream in Boom format. Apart from that, lovely map (not for the brain tho)!

 

Edit: Also, after reading what a charnel house is on wikipedia, the map makes a lot more sense and now I like it even more, great job pal! >:D
