Cadman Posted June 9 In case you missed it here is the level I created for E1M1 of Ultimate Doom. It was only tested using GZDoom and I found out that when someone played using Crispy Doom a couple of the triggers didn't work. Text file included. Korsuv Posted June 9 I really had great time playing your map; I liked this way of leaving the choice to the player to go where he wants, but in reality it was designed and mind to a certain order by the map, otherwise it becomes downright difficult if not impossible. To collect the ammo, you must first go there; To kill the sergeants who are lying in wait, you must go there, etc. - The level design is downright simple and cool, very respectful of the spirit of Doom I; I absolutely loved it. For the secrets, I managed to discovered all of them, but it's not recorded. Because yes, I tried again afterwards because I was frustrated not to get 100% (the good ol' trick to show the blue armor to the player), which shows that I really liked it. 0 Share this post Link to post
ArchLiver Posted June 9 (edited) I Beat this map on Ultra Violence and to be completely honest, its not hard at all, maybe try making the difficulty in your later maps way harder so that they are fit for Ultra Violence. The Maps level design was good, The architecture was also good. I never ran out of ammo or got low on health at all which is one of my main complaints about Ultra Violence being to easy but its fine. Fun Map! Good Job Mate! 0 Share this post Link to post
Cadman Posted June 9 Good job, it wasn't really designed to be extremely difficult, just something fun to play. Glad you enjoyed it. Cadman - Member TeamTNT / Doom2 Grandmaster DHT5 Standards 1 Share this post Link to post
