Is this cool or what? I assume the machine runs Windows so that it could run Doom. I wonder what the specs of an Eftpos machine are? Could it run Quake or Duke Nukem 3D?

Payment terminals usually don't run Windows. It's almost always based on mobile devices like Android or older phones.

Appears to be an actual port to a proprietary operating system making use of a bootloader vulnerability, rather than someone just stuffing different hardware in its shell.
