No wonder there's reason why typical pwad readme has section that tells if you can or can not use wad as base for your thing. So, my question is, how many there are addons or mods... for already existing mods and addons? I mean, usually pwads made for vanilla (or source ported) games, but there no technical restrictions on making something for already existing work.

My suggestions here:

1. TNT/Plutonia pwads, which technically can be brought here, since TNT and Plutonia are already addons themselves.

2. Aliens TC developer has special text encouraging you to make your own levels for his TC, he even offers help by telling you to write to his email, so he can dump more technical info on which objects does what.

3. Gameplay mods sometimes work really badly with vanilla maps, which sounds like good reason to make maps exclusive to some gameplay mods.

4. Fucking Unfair, which is april fools modded version of already existing mod, Not Even Remotely Fair.

If you wonder: I question about both standalone works, which were based on some mods (for example, Brutal Wolfenstein claims that it has some things from Brutal Doom, while being able to run without it), or something which requires both game and other mod (as I said, potential map for Aliens TC would require both vanilla engine and TC files, unless it would be embedded with it)
