Eternity devbuild crashes when changing skies

Hi, when playing a map that uses alternate skies on the up-to-date devbuild, the game crashes with an error "R_GetSkyTexture: Failed to get sky texture for texturenum ___". This happens in D64D2.wad, for example MAP17. If this is a known issue than sorry, but I couldn't find any mention of this on the forums.

Hi Jesion.

 

Can confirm that too. With the old Forseti release everything is fine with D64D2.WAD map 17's sky.

It changes when the thunder sound appears.

 

The latest dev-build crashes when this should happen.

 

I will open an issue at Github about this problem.

Thank you Meerschweinmann! Unfortunately, I can't think of any other wad that uses this feature so I'm not sure if this is the issue with the wad or the source port

I am unsure about that too, but as the old EE Forseti release handles map 17's sky as intended, i would say it is something the devs should know.

Probably a gap in precaching skies necessary now that multithreading is in. I'll try find time to resolve it.
