rafael2100 Posted September 16 (edited) So when I was mapping for my own project, the tower of Babel, one map I am working on was especially infested by slime trails, and it genuinely ruined the vibe of the map so while I played around with the nodebuilders in the hopes I find one that doesn't create an infinite number of slime trails, I stumbled on the deepBSP nodebuilder, which managed to get rid of the slime trails. My question is : is this nodebuilder compatible with most source ports supporting MBF21 ? And do you have any recommendations of other nodebuilders that get rid of slime trails, that are also more compatible with MBF21-supporting source ports compared to deepBSP ? (The nodebuilder I was using before was ZDBSP) 0 Share this post Link to post
Bauul Posted September 16 AFAIK DeepBSP is compatible with all modern source ports. I've used it plenty of times and never had any issues with it, especially for larger or more complex maps. 1 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted September 16 So, take a look at comparison by features and note how all ports that support MBF21 also support extended nodes. Extended nodes in this category means both the DeePBSP nodes and the ZDBSP nodes. At this point, all the ports that support xNd4 also support XNOD, and vice-versa. 2 Share this post Link to post
Redneckerz Posted September 17 Say what you want about Deep, but DeepBSP is one of the better nodebuilders, even from back in the day. It was one of the first (if not the first) to support new node algorithms and is still a worthwhile choice. 2 Share this post Link to post
