I am making this WAD from time to time, using only OTEX textures. I am aiming to detail it very much and using a lot of cool GZDOOM features, such as 3D floors and Prey-like portals, slopes and puzzles/rooms where you'll have to jump (at least to reach some secrets). This is a ~~total conversion because custom sprites will be used for monsters, weapons, power-ups, decorations, etc. even if the WAD is still attached to DOOM II's lore. Speaking of which:

Plot: Many years after the DOOM Marine destroyed the Icon of Sin (DOOM II's), you (the character) are awakening from what looks like some sort of demonic contraption. With no memory, isolated and lost, your goal will be to find why you're there, who you are and what to do.

This is MAP01 in UDMF format, even tough I
wanna add og DOOM intermission maps. Very early WIPs for now. I wonder if it is worth it to create its own topic yet. I mean, I can explain lore, how it will be divided, what to expect, difficulty goals, etc. etc.
I hope I can go very far with this! :}

I don't see anything wrong with creating your own topic and posting progress. I think that would be interesting.

You could create it in the main Wads Release & Development section.

I LOVE the idea of a Garden of Eden that's just spewing blood from the sky, although I will admit the blood rain seems a tad excessive and probably would be a bit distracting in-game? Would have to see it in motion to be sure, though. Keep it up, though, I'll enjoy playing this!

This map will be released by the end of this month as part of Russian Random Speedmap Pack #3 (a big community project I'm leading specialy for the local part of our community). As playtests show, it doesn't interfere much (except for a little bit of bitrate spoiling on streams xdd), on the contrary, it adds a lot of dramatic effect in symbiosis with "The Forgotten God" by Tristan Clark. Been wanting to do a big map under a heavy downpour for a long time, there will be something to see there (this also applies to the whole project, we already have 45 worthy maps from 18 mappers and there's a whole week in which I can get new work sent to me).

I feel like the blood might be nicer/less excessive-looking if there was some translucency on it. Is it done with things, or linedefs? (You can add translucency to either.)
