Six Posted April 4, 2016 6 to 7 hours on weekdays. Maybe up to 11 on weekends, but that's usually when i have no plans so it can vary a lot. On average i'd say around the 50 mark a week. However if it's a busy week then i could easily cut around 10 to 14 hours off. 0 Share this post Link to post
HavoX Posted April 4, 2016 Does the word "immeasurable" stick to your head? Besides volunteering for Tiger Totes and when something unusual comes up (such as the internet not working or when I'm on vacation), I'm usually available all the time. Yeah, I know... I need to get a life. :P 0 Share this post Link to post

Kontra Kommando Posted April 4, 2016 My job is dependent upon me using the internet, so for me it cannot be less than 40 hours a week. EDIT: I'm getting paid for this. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
kuchitsu Posted April 4, 2016 Hmm, inspiring topic. Today I didn't use the internet at all except when I really needed and it felt great. I think I'll stop visiting Doomworld, etc. Screw you guys. 0 Share this post Link to post

You'll be back. Somehow, you'll always come back. After all, tomorrow will be a new day. 0 Share this post Link to post

40oz Posted April 5, 2016 When I first bought my house we didn't have internet for several months. I had to write down things I needed to use the internet for with a pen and paper and then bring it with me to my college classes to use in the school library after classes. Things like checking email and downloading files, but also things to research that I was genuinely curious about and questions I never had answers for. I accomplished a lot more in those few hours than I probably would if I had all day to sit in front of the computer and even though its super convenient, ive tried a few times to talk my wife into canceling our isp service so I wouldn't take my internet time so much for granted. Though admittedly I would probably never have been able to manage community projects or participate in multiplayer games or speedmapping events or whatever. 0 Share this post Link to post
Mithral_Demon Posted April 5, 2016 Depends. Depending on when I get off work, and have to do anything else. Give or take 30+ hours a week, it varies. IF I'm sick, then, it drops as I'm spending more time resting. (not like my old self where sickness didnt bother me) 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted April 5, 2016 Probably too many. My PC's online at least 14 hours a day, during which time I'm wandering in and out as my home care responsibilities dictate, and I'm not always staring at a website when on the computer, so I'd guesstimate around 30 hours per week. kuchitsu said:I think I'll stop visiting Doomworld, etc. Screw you guys. Mithran Denizen Posted April 5, 2016 Heh, as little as possible. Ideally I browse much less than an hour per day at this point, though reading binges or the pressing need to research stuff still occur. I guess I just have enough stimulating people and projects in my life that the signal-to-noise ratio of the internet at large isn't good enough to keep my attention the way it used to. Probably ~5-15 hours per week? 0 Share this post Link to post
Budoka Posted April 5, 2016 Way too many, even if I take into account that a lot of my time on the internet is spent on self-education. EDIT: Though I never use it when I'm not at home. 0 Share this post Link to post
CARRiON Posted April 5, 2016 When I have it, I over-indulge, when I don't have it, I manage fine enough. 0 Share this post Link to post
