LEGACY OF RUST - overall thoughts?

I hope not. Is it true that LoR is unfinished? -
What Do You Think Of Wolfenstein 2009 And The New Order?
Zero Denied posted a topic in Everything Else
Do you consider them Wolfenstein games or not? From what I've seen, they're not, but what do you think? -
Share them here. Whether it's the games or something else related to Doom.

We got Heretic and Hexen on id Tech 1. Then Hexen 2 came on id Tech 2, with Heretic 2 being on the Quake 2 engine. We haven't got a sequel afterwards on id Tech 3 or 4. Why is that the case? A Hexen mod was made for Doom 3, but no official entry yet. Nothing on Heretic was done. Should they have got official sequels on id Tech 4?

I created this topic because I love the series so much. Timesplitters 1, 2, and Future Perfect are the best first person shooters ever made, and it's so heartbreaking to see titles like Halo, Doom, Call of Duty, Overwatch, Half-Life, and more overshadow the series. I own TS2, but sadly not 1 and Future Perfect. I did play FP a little bit once, but it wasn't mine. I never played TS1, but I did see gameplay of it. First I ever knew of Timesplitters was by a trailer of the first game in Tomb Raider. Then I got to one day try out Future Perfect. Years later I saw TS2's trailer in Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, only to finally get a copy soon after. It was an amazing time. Someday I'll get a copy of both TS1 and Future Perfect, then play them for hours and hours. Timesplitters is a masterpiece that no modern shooter can be compared to. :)

Why Aren't Arena First Person Shooters As Popular As They Used To Be?
Zero Denied posted a topic in Everything Else
Quake 1 having started the whole arena shooter craze with its multiplayer, and then carried over to Quake 2. Those two games were huge when it came to the multiplayer. Then Unreal Tournament came out which was multiplayer only, and so then id Software did the same with Quake 3 Arena. Those two games spawned the golden age of online multiplayer shooters that also had some great AI bots. It went well with UT getting future titles. With Quake, it took a while until Q4 was released. It wasn't as popular as Q3 and was left aside, but the multiplayer was still that of an arena shooter. With UT, UT3 came along and well, it wasn't that popular compared to last entries because of CoD 4 MW. But here's the thing. CoD 4 had a arena shooter mode called old school. Sadly not many people have played it when the game was first released. We didn't get a new arena shooter from a AAA dev team afterwards. Years later we did get Quake Champions and UT4. Other arena shooters came out as well. The problem is, all these shooters weren't seen by the mainstream like in 1999. At the moment the arena shooter is a niche like fighting games. What happened? Has the arena mayhem died off? I mean, there were popular games that sort of had the arena shooter spirit, such as Fortnite believe it or not. Could Counter-Strike count as one? What's different? Why are people more attracted to those kinds of games? -
What series do you like?

What do you feel is the hardest thing about being a doomtuber?
Zero Denied replied to Gougaru's topic in Doom General Discussion
I don't see how Doom is niche. It's the most popular thing right now. -
It'd be great if he's still around.

Oh....

What shooter do you think has the most boring arsenal in any game?
-
Exactly.

Anony is a complete loser. Why couldn't they just get a job like everyone else instead of taking information from an info-less site like Doomworld?
-
Of course not. I did not register and pay for it.

I played standard Doom 3 and not the BFG Edition, but it's said that the BFG Edition is missing content and is much more easier than the original. Console players miss out on content as a result. Apparently the Xbox One and PS4 versions are missing even more things. The only console to have the original Doom 3 is the original Xbox, but that has a few things taken out because of limitations. Console players need the full Doom 3 experience, and the BFG Edition is not the right way to have it. The original should be an option in the BFG Edition.

Come on man. Please understand the situation here. I went to the site and saw that many files were included in the download.

Why can't anyone take this seriously.

Why not just remove our emails from our accounts? That should take care of it.

What do you mean nothing more can be done?

Has the problem been fixed?

I think it could be blue fire. It's said that blue fire is more powerful than standard fire.
