tbh dark ages should be like eternal but for quake. like doom eternal and quake the dark ages. would bang

now i feel bad for not archiving that map tho , since its on "rare occasions" and i somehow got it twice in the same session >w<

the only weapons i had other than fist and pistol of course were ssg and chaingun , so its pawsible im misremembering what i fired the last shot with ,,

working on a new map and i believe i experienced this bug twice i would be completely alive fighting off some monsters when my gun would run out of ammo , specifically *all* guns would be out of ammo , and it would lower but my fist wouldnt come up , i would just be stuck without a weapon i remember i was using a chaingun and on low health fighting a lot of imps in a tight hallway regrettably i did not backup the version of the map this happened on , but im gonna try to recreate it -w- i havent been able to intentionally reproduce the bug yet , but im trying so i can make a demo im fairly confident this bug happened to me twice , i dont think i was just not noticing the fist raising , i was on low health but still survived for a while ill keep looking into it! playing on dsda-doom btw -w-

im still processing my feelings on this map's title accidentally(??) namedropping me /lh

it was kind of a mess btu i have been sorting it out quite well , youll be able to map with it painlessly by now o7

ok i have unfortunate news,, the same error still shows on db2 q~q it could be an issue with running it in a vm mayb i dont know what to try anymore,, :c anyway im taking a break for tonight to eat and get comfy and sleep later -w- ill mess with it more tomorrow :3 goodnight doomworld ^.^

i can only seem to find download links for forks of it,, >.< i want the original db2! i couldnt get gzdb to run on my vm and i would really prefer an editor that could because thats where i installed dbx,, also i just kind of like the vibes of mapping in windows xp >w< edit: and sowy if im posting too much,, :c

a! thank you for the note about the program name :3 maybe i should use something other than dbx,, i just downloaded it since it said it supported lua scripts and i like really need ribbiks's make242c for what im working on >w< edit: also great pfp lol >w< edit2: mayb ill install db2 as well and just use dbx for the make242c passes :3 its not going to be a common occurance needing to use it i just need it for the finishing touches >w<

i tried installing this plugin > https://github.com/Xabis/DrawCircle as far as i know im just supposed to put the dll in the plugins folder? it gave me the error "the dll file could not be read, this file is not supposed to be in the plugins subdirectory' >.<' im on dbx 2019.1 (oopsies i didnt realise i got an outdated version >w<) running it on a windows xp vm
