I'll put my 2 cents: I'm also not good at drawing, but I'd rather get a virus on my computer than try out some tech that's churning out generated images through a few lines of text and causing the internet to be infested with these images, plus stealing from images and other artists all around the internet and eats lots of power like popcorn for its shit as well. That said, much as I dislike this kind of tech being called A.I. (it's not even close to how I pictured A.I. as a young teen, i.e. sentient machines), I'm actually interested seeing it being used as a tool for improvements, such as upsampling low-quality audio and upscaling textures for older games.

Okay, according to what I read and found on Twitter, looks like these guys are claiming responsibility for the attack. They claim they're doing this because IA supposedly supports the Israeli government just because they're based on the USA... despite the fact they're a non-profit organization and have no ties to the US government. Take this info with a jar of salt.

So I got around to getting Burnout Crash to run on Xenia (had to use the netplay build, the regular Canary build would crash [no pun intended] the moment I try to start a game). I had to say, I had plenty of fun with it and laughed like a cocaine-addicted clown because of how ridiculous the game is (in a good way) in terms of random shit, like the "super features".

Same for me here, I was about to change my damn password. Beats me on whoever's responsible, though. Just what the hell do they gain from doing this? EDIT: I think I might've found who's behind all this. Check the below post.

Might or might not be related to the topic at hand, but Internet Archive got DDOS'd recently. On top of that usernames, e-mail addresses and salted password hashes have been breached. I'm getting real concerned now, I have an account on that website and I hope none of the files are affected. UPDATE: OH THANK GOD.

Yeah, I should've mentioned that term was exclusively used by the Western Allies during WW2.

I played Wolfenstein '09. It's an okay game, I guess. Not a masterpiece, but not terrible either. New Order, on the other hand, it's pretty good. In fact, I'm in the middle of playing it. Yeah, I consider them both to be Wolfenstein. Also, I chuckled in Wolfenstein '09 at the fact that the Nazis in the game refer to themselves as Nazis. They would never call themselves like that IRL (that term was used exclusively by the Allies during WW2), they prefer to be called Germans or the Reich.

I first discovered Doomworld when I found out some of the mods I was about to download resides here and when I was reading on their infamous WADs list. I stuck in the ZDoom Forums for a while until I was informed by @Kinsie that he moved here because of some terrible things going on the ZDoom Forums, so I decided to migrate here as well. Plus some of the people seems to be easier to get along with than in the ZDoom forums.

Classic Doom. To me, Doom 3 counts as classic Doom. I was mostly only familiar with the old Doom games, I've never played the 2016 re-boot or Eternal.
