If the stuff you really want to play is too hard, but at the same time you don't want to get good, then I suppose there's nothing anyone can do. There's still a whole bunch of easy, interesting WADs out there, like Lunatic for example. Even the slaughtermap at the end is short and easy, and has a very cool concept.

Great insight man! I never thought Bobby was THAT much of an ""inspired"" guy.

I get that it was revolutionary and impressive for its time, but I still hold my opinion because of how miserable the whole experience was after making the grave mistake of pistol starting it. In the odd chance that I replay it I'll definitely go with continuous, but I doubt that some of those maps can be salvaged (especially the last one - legit one of the worst experiences I've had in Doom).

I thought this would be an interesting topic after hearing some harsh (but sensible) critiques of both the classic and modern Doom soundtracks around here - stances which very much go against the popular opinion of them being legendary and great. Is that popular opinion right, or should we question it?

How many maps are planned for the final release? I usually play finished versions and I'm really hyped to see this project grow.
