Spotlighting this map originally made in January 2016 for Doomworld Roulette: Session 2.
I've always been very happy with how this map turned out, although a few textures originally depicted a public figure who's now fallen into disfavor, hence the re-release.
The combat has been tweaked so there are now higher stakes during the key fights, as well as more optional fights if you choose to get all the items and secrets.
The plot: Tim Curry's just trying to enjoy a nice re-enactment of Punch and Judy by a cyberdemon and spider mastermind within his secret communist moonbase, when suddenly Doomguy shows up and gatecrashes the whole thing because he's kind of a dick like that sometimes I guess.
Download (2.4MB):

By the way, there's some brief notes about the Deathkings maps in the OP of this thread now. They're not tremendously descriptive, just brief overviews like I've done in previous MIDI pack project threads. Hopefully they're still a useful little primer!

1 hour ago, Xaser said:Armory track's still happenin' -- Cammy reached out and was interested in a collab, though we've lately been a bit on the busy side with things (as they tend to go).
Oh awesome! Should I tentatively put both your names down for that slot?

It's all okay with me if you wanna use these, although @NeuralStunner helped out with these fonts a little (I believe mainly with the smallfont variant).

Vel's production is great. He blends together big palettes of sounds from all kinds of decades in way that's seamless and sounds great.

Mindweaver (from Legacy of Rust) alternate death. The O and P frames didn't need changing, far as I could tell, so you can just use the original BSPI O and P sprites for that.
Also works pretty well if you flip each of the frames, in accordance with the direction the Mindweaver falls over (to the left like the mastermind, instead of the right like the arachnotron).

Another Lippeth track, another treat for the ears. This is awesome. Brilliantly tense, highly fitting for the constant staircase-climb combat of Treasury, and all the effortless half-step modulations throughout the piece are just fab.
Happy to call this a completed track if you are!

This should go without saying, but in an ideal world, one should never create exclusively for an audience.
I'm always making maps, mods and music purely for myself above all else, to fill some type of niche *I* wanna fill. And if other folks enjoy it, that's an added bonus. :)
