This is, without doubt, the best DooM 2 TC ever. I mean ever. Even if you've never heard of Batman, you'd have to be taken in by the sumptious (damn near proffesional - just look at the screenshot!) graphics, incredibly realistic level design, and, goddamit, the whole game.
The exe has been hacked to oblivion to produce some truly original effects, and what's more, they all work on your bog-standard DooM II - you don't have to download any fancy source port before you play this baby. Unfortunately, this means you're going to have a hard time designing your own Batman DooM levels, but hey - why would you want to with levels this good on offer, any way?
Let me gives some examples of the hacks. On the first level, you enter a subway train. After a while, the bad guys set the train running, and you can see the lights going past the window, and hear the rumble of the train. Then when you get to the end carriage and stop the hi-jacked train, you get out and you're in a different subway station. How's that for realism?
Other hacks include Batarangs that visibly fly through the air as you throw them, bad guys who jump from under water to ambush you, and an end of level boss who picks up rocks off the ground and throws them at you.
I could tell you all of it, but I don't want to spoil the suprise. This is hands down the best TC, ever. Download it now, dammit!
