Map of the Month for September, 1999: Boo You'll find that we have a very special map ready for you to download this month, and it's an exclusive in every sense of the word; Boo.wad has been constructed especially for us through the good graces of Aardappel, author of the very cool DM4-ish. Boo is made specifically for one-on-one duels, although three players will still fit comfortably. The design and layout of the map is such that it makes for very tactical, violent deathmatching; there's lots of ways to misdirect your opponent, with sound cues helping you zero in on a foe's location and intentions. Strange angles of attack also afford lots of opportunities for ambush, and the weapon placement is tight all throughout. This map is *perfect* for play over Doomserv, and it will run on every source port; this includes the original Doom2.exe. As a bonus we've even included a separate nodes table that you can use to play against Fly's badass Doombot 3.0a. Of course both the Cajun/ZCajun can handle the map decently, but it's nothing compared to the Doombot. The damn thing runs around like it owns the place, and will spank you hardcore to prove it!
